The Town of Stockton Plan Commission met March 3rd, 2021 to recommend an amendment to the Town of Stockton Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation on Future Land Use Map 8.3 for portions of Parcel #034-24-0931:10.08 (Approximately 25 acres total), as follows: 22.482 acres from L1 Enterprise Agricultural to Industrial, 2.5 acres from L1 Enterprise Agricultural to Residential, and .226 acres from L1 Enterprise Agricultural to L3 Limited Agriculture/Mixed Use.  The Plan Commission will forward their approval recommendation to the Town Board.

This change in land use designation is necessary to allow for the property owner to request a rezoning of the same parcel, as follows: 22.482 acres from A1 Exclusive Agriculture to Industrial to operate a mini-warehousing, dumpster and portable shipping business and outdoor storage yard, 2.5 acres from A1 Exclusive Agricultural to R1 Urban & Rural Fringe Residence, and .226 acres from A1 Exclusive Agricultural to A3 Low Density Agricultural.   The Stockton Plan Commission also recommended approval of the rezoning request and will forward their approval recommendation to the Stockton Town Board.  All Plan Commission recommendations will be on the agenda of the Stockton Town Board meeting on Monday, April 12th, 2021.
