Ordinance No. O-21-01 to amend the Town of Stockton Comprehensive Plan

ORDINANCE NO. O-21-01

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE TOWN OF STOCKTON COMPREHENSIVE PLAN 

The Town Board of the Town of Stockton, Portage County, Wisconsin, does ordain as follows:

Section 1

Pursuant to Section 62.23(2) and 62.23(3) of the Wisconsin Statutes, the Town of Stockton is authorized to amend, extend, or add to the Comprehensive Plan, or carry out any part of the subject matter into greater detail.

Section 2

The Plan Commission of the Town of Stockton reviewed the request for a Comprehensive Plan amendment to change the future land use designation on the Future Land Use Map for portions of parcel 034-24-0931:10.08 as follows: 22.482 acres from L1 Enterprise Agricultural to Industrial, 2.5 acres from L1 Enterprise Agricultural to Residential, and .226 acres from L1 Enterprise Agricultural to L3 Limited Agriculture/Mixed Use, and has adopted a resolution recommending the Town Board adopt the proposed amendment by Ordinance.

Section 3

The Town Board held a public hearing on the proposed Comprehensive Plan amendment in compliance with the requirements of Section 66.1001(4)(d) of the Wisconsin Statutes. 

Section 4

The Town Board of the Town of Stockton, Portage County, Wisconsin, does, by enactment of this Ordinance, formally adopt the amendment to the document titled “Town of Stockton Comprehensive 2016 Comprehensive Plan” pursuant to Section 66.1001(4)(c) of Wisconsin Statutes.

Section 5

This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage by a majority vote of the Town Board and publication as required by law.
