Notice is hereby given that Portage County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 4:00 pm in Conference Room 5 of the County Annex, 1462 Strongs Avenue, Stevens Point, Wisconsin, in order to consider the following petition:

Petition No. P20-09 Ann M Britz Survivors Trust, Owners/Laura Bronk, Agent of property located at 2005 Weaver Circle, being part of the NE1/4 SE1/4, and SE1/4 NE1/4 of Section 31, T24N, R9E, Parcel #034-24-0931-13, 034-24-0931-04.02 and 034-24-0931-04.03 located in the Town of Stockton, wherein a Special Exception from the Portage County Zoning Ordinance section 7.1.3.1(C)(3), 7.1.3.1(C)(21), 7.1.3.1(C)(28) and the Portage County Wellhead Protection Ordinance section 7.2.6.3(19) is requested to operate a dog kennel, indoor dog training facility, and have a sign greater that six square feet in Zone C of the Groundwater Protection Overlay District, and in the A3, Low Density Agricultural District. 

Materials and information related to this request will be available for viewing one week prior to the Hearing date online at www.co.portage.wi.us by clicking on the agenda packet for the Board of Adjustment Committee meeting in the Agendas/Minutes Calendar.  All interested persons are invited to attend said hearing and be heard, and accommodations have been made to do so remotely if you prefer. If you are unable to attend the hearing, you may submit written comments on agenda items to the Planning and Zoning Department by mail at 1462 Strongs Avenue, Stevens Point, WI 54481, or by e-mail at (stewartg@co.portage.wi.us). The deadline for sending comments in writing is 2 business days prior to the meeting.  Comments will be delivered to the Board members and posted at least 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting.
